Biogas Project

What is Biogas?
School Biogas is a carbon abatement initiative aiming to combat Malaysia’s food waste problem. Biogas is a renewable fuel produced by the breakdown of organic matter such as food and animal wastes. It then can be used as an alternative to natural gas for cooking or coal for electricity. The Biogas project builds capacity in our students, local communities and businesses to operate a biogas digester and an organic vegetable patch in their area that provides students/ communities with a full illustration of a circular economy whilst reaping it's rewarding benefits.
